Happy Day! WOW! Can Ya'll believe OAK CITY FIBERS IS NOW 6 Months Old!! Time is flying! We are loving it and so thankful! I am back from "Going to Market" aka- H&H America's Trade Show in Chicago! I brought back a starter amount of NEW YARNs in a suitcase so come in the shop this week and check it out and snag up some new yarn! It's already online too! I had a blast and met so many people! Found new products and placed lots of orders! Look at the end of the newsletter for some trip pics and our store sign! Be sure to watch my Instagram/Facebook posts for announcements of new stuff!
The Circle of Kindness has seen lots of change the past couple weeks! The circle always brings out a fun quote and continues to be such a great place to bring joy and happiness to others! Quote of the week: "I put that around my neck and felt like a Flight Attendant". We continue to live, love and laugh!
Looking ahead, we have Rick of Whimzee Stitches Designs coming for a Trunk Show of his beautiful yarn and bags on My Birthday (June 7), PRIDE MONTH Kick Off and the return of TRIANGLE YARN CRAWL! Yes, Triangle Yarn Crawl is returning the weekend of June 7-9th, 2024! Mark your calendars and plan to come out and support the TYC and visit all the shops in the Triangle Area and let's party the whole weekend with fiber and possibly birthday cake!

Our next Knit-A-Long for May has begun on Wednesdays. Come join us for creating the Mingling Daisies by Stephen West. We have a LOT of fingering weight yarn, at all different price points and color choices to choose from in our shop. You can work on the KAL ANYTIME you're in the shop or at home!
