Happy Day! Indeed!
***EXCITING NEWS*** I was notified about a month ago that Oak City Fibers had won an award. I thought the email was spam but read it anyway! Come to find out, we had been nominated, voted on and WON the "Best New Business" award by WakeLiving Magazine! Check out the article here: WakeLiving Magazine. (Scroll to second picture and article is below our photo) I am humbled, grateful and over joyed to be recognized for this achievement. It's been a lot of hard work, countless hours of work outside the shop and inside the shop. Great staff (past and present, including shop sample knitters / crocheters) have also been a huge asset to opening the business. I can't even begin to THANK YOU our Community of customers enough!

NEW Malabrigo and Berroco colorways are here in all bases! I received a huge shipment of Malabrigo (over 500 skeins) today (Tuesday) and over 150 skeins of Berroco (multiple bases with new colors). Look for these new colorways online and in the shop when you come in!
New Classes are posted so take a look at the Calendar. Please be sure to let Rose know via email (rose@oakcityfibers.com) any classes you would like to see on the calendar. She is building a list of classes and we need teachers! I will teach a few and so will she but If you are interested or know someone that would be a good teacher for either craft please email: rose@oakcityfibers.com.
Winey Wednesday, What a Wednesday! We had the best time last week kicking off 2025 so come on out this week and join in the fun! Join us tomorrow for hanging out and drinking some wine or whatever you want to drink. We welcome all Crocheters, Knitters or anyone that wants to just hang out and enjoy some fun fiber time. Winey Wednesday store hours are 10:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. Come anytime!
