Happy Day! I can never say this enough! THANK YOU for being the Community that means so much to me! The Circle of Kindness always brings out a fun quote and continues to be such a great place to bring joy and happiness to others! Quote of the week: "At least I'm a flaming wall flower". Junction Fiber Mill, Making Tracks LITE HAS ARRIVED AT Oak City Fibers! This gorgeous new SPORT WEIGHT color changing yarn is stocked and on the wall! They created 5 colorways in this new weight and I purchased all 5 of them for you to choose from for your next project! Come in and check it out or buy it online!

**TRUNK SHOW ALERT**We have Ryan of Ryan Yarns, Indy Dyer set to join us for LOCAL YARN SHOP DAY on April 27th, 2024 @ 10:00a.m.! Ryan dyes gorgeous yarns and will be setup at the shop for the day. He is bringing lots of goodies so come see and support local!

**Save the Dates! JUNE 7, 8 & 9th TRIANGLE YARN CRAWL is back and confirmed!

The Peaks and Pinnacles cowl pattern by Teri Bienvenue aka- BigYarnHo on Ravelry for March-April's Knit-A-Long is winding down! Several have completed the kitchner stitch closure and they look great! Be sure to bring it by the shop Wednesday evening so we can take a group picture for everyone to see! Remember, we meet on Wednesdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m. for KAL's and also working on it during Winey Wednesdays! I've started a Knit-a-Long (KAL) on Thursday afternoons 2:00-4:00 as well. The Odyssey Shawl by Joji Locatelli is our Thursday KAL and we have several that have joined us for this fun and quick knit! Come to OCF anytime our doors are open to sit and knit and socialize. Everyone is welcome! Keep an eye out for our next Wednesday KAL announcement! I'm thinking Stephen West pattern!

Granny Square addiction continues at Oak City Fibers! We need your 'squares'! Once we receive enough donations, Ann will teach us how to join the squares and finish the blanket! Once it's all done, we will be donating the blanket to Project Linus!

Junction Fiber Mill; Making Tracks Lite; Oak City Fibers;

Lovely colors as always from Junction Fiber Mill, Making Tracks Lite which is their new Sport Weight color changing yarns! The actual Dyer, Liz, came to the shop last Saturday and explained the process (From sheep to skein) to the group! It was a fun, surprise visit! Come to Oak City Fibers and check out this new yarn!

Pictured with me is Liz, of Junction Fiber Mill. She is the DYER of all the beautiful Making Tracks & Making Tracks Lite. It was a pure joy to meet her and connect! She explained the hard work she does to create these gorgeous color changing yarns from sheep to skein! She is an awesome knitter as well! It really brings it home how all the hard work by real people, not just machines create the yarn for our use!

Summer completed this Traveler Cowl by Andrea Mowry using Junction Fiber Mill, Making Tracks, colorway: Carnival and Kelbourne Woolens Scout in colorway Teal Heather! Thank you Summer for supporting the shop! Your work is amazing!

Jennifer (@vertigowool) knit up this Calliope Sweater using stash yarn and added Moondrake Fuwa Fuwain the colorway: Coral to the yarn. It changed the whole look of the sweater! Great job Jennifer! I appreciate your support of the shop!

Amanda completed these mittens. The pattern is Fiddle Leaf Mittens(?) using Malabrigo Arroyo in the colorway: Aniversarioand Kelbour Woolens Scout in the colorway: Charcoal Heather . Beautiful work Amanda! Thanks for bringing those in and sharing with us!

Berroco; Vintage Chunky; Oak City Fibers;

LaDawn finished this baby blanket in crochet for one of her granddaughters! She used Berroco Vintage Chunky in the colorway Fondant! Great work LaDawn! Keep on creating! I appreciate your support of the shop so much!

Rose joined our KAL's and completed the Odyssey Shawl(Thursday KAL) using Magpie Swanky DK in the colorways: Drops of Jupiter, Hell's Bells and Pretty in Pink! All of these colorways are on re-order!
