Happy Day! I was so blown away by our Fiber Community! WOW! Y'all showed up and supported local! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Words can't express how much I appreciate you visiting and supporting Oak City Fibers! When I closed up Sunday afternoon, I was humbled and so thankful for your support! Seriously, I was brought to tears! You ALL are amazing! Soooo many new faces! It was great to meet you! Welcome to the Oak City Fibers Community! Thanks also goes to my awesome Staff and my husband for always having my back! The numerous birthday cakes, donuts, bagels, gifts and hugs means so much! The Whimzee Stitches Trunk Show and The 2024 Triangle Yarn Crawl was a huge success for Oak City Fibers! We can't THANK YOU enough! Without you, our Community, we wouldn't be here! Don't forget Our Knit-A-Long for June- PRIDE Month is 2 choices! Pick one or do both! We are kicking off SOCK-IT-TO-ME-SUMMER Program to knit a pair of socks! We have PRIDE sock kits to purchase or you can create your own with choosing a PRIDE variegated mini-skein from Wonderland Yarns and pair it with other fingering weight yarns in the shop! Glen will be in the circle helping and teaching for free on how to knit socks!
If you don't want to knit socks, we have selected the Midnight Wrap by Lucy Burns Designs! We have kits with PRIDE mini-skein sets of Noda Sock solids from Queen City Yarns paired with PRIDE by Wonderland Yarns "Happy Summer Days" Fingering weight skein of 475 yards to knit your shawl. If you don't wish to use PRIDE colors, please feel free to pick other colorways/yarns and join in the fun! See shop sample pics of each KAL kit below!
