Many have asked about our Store Manager, Ann Brooks. She's recovering from her knee replacement very well at home. She emailed me this note to pass along to our Community: "Just a note to the OCF community — thank you so very much for the texts, messages, food, and support over the last week since my replacement part was installed! Everything is progressing as planned and I hope to be back in the circle of kindness in the very near future! When Glen told me his vision for Oak City Fibers, to create a community where everyone is welcomed, and it is a kind, safe place to be, I fully supported that, of course. I had no idea however how much it would come to mean to me, not only on a professional level but on a personal level as well. And I have you all to thank for that. Glen and Alyssa are really the best people to “work” with. It’s hard to consider it work when we have so much fun! See you all soon! Ann"
We had an AWESOME trunk show with Plied Yarns! Their yarn creations are beautiful and we now stock a full array of colors of those terrific yarns!
