Crocheting 101: This is the class we have been waiting for: the MOST basic crochet class for the absolute novice. This is (2) two hour class that will get you started.
You will get handouts/directions where with some assistance you will be able to create your first project of a face scrubby or dishcloth or possibly both! Instruction will include slip knots, chaining and single crochet stitches. There will be ample time for questions, addressing any concerns and fun. No previous experience is needed and all materials can be purchased at the store prior to the beginning of class. Please have everything ready to begin class promptly. Items needed prior to class is 1 skein of yarn, a darning needle & a 4.5mm crochet hook(must purchase at Oak City Fibers). Please bring with you a pair of scissors, a writing utensil and a notepad.
Class Policy -
- Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.
- Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor agrees or was unable to teach or the shop was unexpectedly closed.
- Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
- We require a minimum of two students for each class; in the event that signups do not meet that minimum level, the class will be cancelled and we'll issue refunds for class registrations. If yarn was purchased for the class; the yarn refund policy for all yarns listed on our Policies webpage.
