Finding & Fixing Mistakes
Date: December 14th, 2024. 2 – 4 pm
Description
Learn how to recognize and fix common mistakes in your knitting! Participants will learn how to drop stitches in order to fix mistakes without ripping back, and other ways to fix mistakes after the knit item is already finished. Each student will be provided with a swatch full of mistakes so they can practice what they learn!
Mistakes we’ll learn to fix:
- Dropped stitches
- A purl that should have been a knit
- Split stitches
- Backwards stitches
Difficulty: beginner knitters and beyond
Materials needed: a variety of knitting needles, tapestry needle, crochet hook, waste yarn
About the Instructor: Mari is an established Knitting Instructor and Knit Designer with several knitting patterns that have been published over the years. She loves teaching and working with people!
Class Policy -
- Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.
- Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor agrees or was unable to teach or the shop was unexpectedly closed.
- Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
- We require a minimum of two students for each class; in the event that signups do not meet that minimum level, the class will be cancelled and we'll issue refunds for class registrations.
