Happy Day! Wow what a week! We've had so much fun at the shop the past week. Lot's of stitching and bitching and LOTS of laughter! Last Wednesday night, y'all really showed up and showed out! I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time! Please be sure to come visit the shop this week and let's find laughter and good times together!
Twice Sheared Sheep NEW PRODUCTS just released last week are in the shop and selling fast. I have a good supply so grab yours today!
NEW Moondrake, Emma's and Magpie are all set to ship either this week or next week so keep a look out on the website for returning stock and new colorways coming! Also, we've changed the layout to the shop so come in and see all the beautiful changes!
Oak City Fibers Yarn Shop Sock/Book Club with Frog It Yarns is going well! We have lots of fun emailing pics, discussing patterns and of course, discussing the monthly book read! LOTS OF New Classes are posted so take a look at the Class page. Go reserve your spot today. Several classes have a maximum of 4-6 students so register early! We have added some Brioche classes and Crochet classes! We had an AWESOME class with Julie on 3D Needle Felting! So much fun and a full class! I will teach a few and so will she but If you are interested or know someone that would be a good teacher for either craft please email: rose@oakcityfibers.com.
I am thinking of teaching another Sock Knitting Class and/or a Steeking Class! Please let me know if you're interested and what day/times work best for you.
Winey Wednesday, What a Wednesday! We had some good laughing last week and LOTS and LOTS of crocheting! yes, for the first Winey Wednesday since opening, we had more crocheters present than knitters! It was 'hookers' everywhere I turned! :-) Yes, that phrase is what started the laughing Wednesday night! It will be frigid cold this Wednesday so bring food and hang out with us after the shop closes and eat! Shop closes at 7:00 pm on Wednesday's then we eat in the classroom and leave by 8:00 pm. Come anytime!
