Oak City Fibers Continues to Celebrate Black History Month & Heart Awareness Month
The February CAL and KAL has begun and kits are selling quickly! We are celebrating Black History Month and Heart Awareness Month! Let's all come together and support two great causes here at Oak City Fibers Yarn Store!! Both of these causes are dear to my heart (literally)...If you know my story, you know I'm a Heart Disease Patient and had quadruple heart bypass surgery on February 20, 2020....I'm thankful to be here and enjoy OCF with all you great people!
Come join the fun and let's all Crochet and Knit together to focus and show support for Black History Month and Heart Awareness Month!! For Black History Month, I chose to select African American Designed Patterns for both the CAL and KAL!! To recognize Heart Awareness, I chose Red Yarn. Red is the color symbolizing Heart Health! So let's Crochet and Knit supporting Black Designers and Heart Awareness!
See below for the Crochet-A-Long and Knit-A-Long!!! Come to Oak City Fibers and buy your red yarn!! I have a limited supply of 29 Bridges kits and have individual skeins of red yarn from different vendors at all price points in stock for you to choose!! If you don't like red, by all means pick another color!
Be Kind in all things and remember, Support Local or Local won't be here!! See you at "The OCF" soon! Happy Day! Glen
