Have you always wanted to learn Brioche plus knitting it in the round?
Come learn the brioche knit stitch in the round with me. This fun brioche beanie is the perfect amount of squish.
The first-class session will focus on casting on and setting up the pattern, understanding the brioche stitch and learning the different stitches.
The second-class session will focus on fixing and correcting mistakes from knitting your beanie between classes.
The pattern is free and can be downloaded from Ravelry. Oak City fibers has started agroup page on Ravelry where finished projects can be shared.
About: This class is for those familiar with knit stitch, casting on, and binding off. Get ready to learn the following new skills: the brioche stitch, brioche stitch in the round, and decreasing the brioche stitch. This is not a beginner knitting class.

Class Time: October 2nd and 09th 5pm -7pm

Materials Required:
- Size US#8 16’’ Circular needles. Second Size #8 needles recommended to help with decrease rounds
- 2 high contrast skeins of worsted weight yarn. One can be variegated, and one can be solid color. Recommend Malabrigo Rios Zodiac and Brooklyn Tweed
o Main Color: approx. 110 Yards
o CC: Approx 110 Yards
- 1 stitch markers
- A Darning needle
- Scissors

Class Policy -
- Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.
- Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor agrees or was unable to teach or the shop was unexpectedly closed.
- Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
- We require a minimum of two students for each class; in the event that signups do not meet that minimum level, the class will be cancelled and we'll issue refunds for class registrations.
