Its Brioche Leaves Scarf (Brioche Flat Knitting) Time
Learn to knit this wonderfully squishy reversible brioche scarf. The techniques
learned in this class will provide you the confidence to tackle any brioche project.
The first-class session will focus on casting on and setting up the pattern, understanding the chart and written pattern, and learning the different stitches.
The second-class session will focus on fixing and correcting mistakes from you knitting
your scarf between classes. The pattern is free and can be downloaded from ravelry. Oak City fibers has started a group page on ravelry where finished projects
can be shared.
Instructor: Stacy Bohovsky, an avid knitter of 15yrs who processes, designs, and creates her own yarn from raw fleece. You can follow her journey on her Facebook or Instagram: Hoofprintknits.
Class Time: March 29th and April 5th 10:30 am -12:30pm

Materials Required:
- 2 high contrast colors of worsted weight yarn or DK weight yarn.
- Color 1: Approx 295 yards
Color 2: 295 Yards
Sample knit pictured is made with Brooklyn Tweed Shelter colors: CC1 - Fossil and CC2 - Artifact.
- Some Scrap yarn for lifelinesSize US#8 16’’ Circular needles. Second Size #8 needles recommended to help with decrease rounds.
- 1 stitch markers
- A Darning needle
- Scissors
The Pattern will be included. The yarn must be purchased from Oak City Fibers.
Class Policy -
- Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.
- Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor agrees or was unable to teach or the shop was unexpectedly closed.
- Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
- We require a minimum of two students for each class; in the event that signups do not meet that minimum level, the class will be cancelled and we'll issue refunds for class registrations.
