Do you want to learn stranded colorwork? It's easier than you think and is so much fun.
We will learn to hold two colors at a time and read a color chart to make the Color Hat from Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/color-hat - which is a free pattern. This pattern is knit in the round so you should already be familiar with either using 16" needles, magic loop, or two circulars. Also, you should be able to begin the hat in the round and complete the ribbing section prior to class.
Materials Required:
- Two skeins of contrasting worsted weight yarn. Malabrigo Rios or Berroco Vintage are each good choices.
- Yarn for classes must be purchased at Oak City Fibers
HOMEWORK - PLEASE COME TO CLASS WITH THE RIBBING PORTION OF THE PATTERN COMPLETE
CLASS POLICY
- Refunds or store credits for pre-paid class registrations can be made only if we are notified at least two weeks in advance of the beginning of class.
- Missed classes will not be made up unless the instructor agrees or was unable to teach or the shop was unexpectedly closed.
- Refunds or store credits for missed classes cannot be made.
- We require a minimum of two students for each class; in the event that signups do not meet that minimum level, the class will be cancelled and we'll issue refunds for class registrations.
- Class will be rescheduled, if necessary, due to inclement weather
